Being an optimist at heart, I truly believe that people can realize the error of their past ways and make amends for things they’ve said and done which have harmed or besmirched others.
Everyone, that is, with the exception of conservative commentator Ann Coulter.
Once again Ann is proving that she is a mean-spirited asshat without compare by going after the father of a solider who died in service to his country in Iraq.
Speaking on an Australian show, Coulter was told by host Andrew Bolt that she shouldn’t have criticized Khizr Khan, the father of Humayun Khan, who was killed in Iraq. Bolt had this to say to Coulter:
“That still leaves the case of the Muslim parents of the soldier who died, I just don’t think you criticize the parents, any parents of a soldier who died in battle.”
But in typical mean as a snake fashion, Coulter refused to back down a single inch, telling Bolt:
“No I totally disagree… No I totally disagree on that one. I don’t know America very well if they want to listen to a snarling Muslim lecture them and tell us we’re not allowed to have opinions on important public policy issues unless we had a son die in Iraq.”
Clearly, Ms. Coulter, you do NOT know America well at all, despite having been born here. And many of is do indeed want to hear Mr. Khan speak the way he did at the Democratic convention. Because what he had to say about Donald Trump is essential to the decision we will make on November 8. It’s the choice between a sane, rational, measured woman who has decades of experience–Hillary Clinton– and a loose cannon named Donald Trump whose only experience is looking into a TV camera and telling people, “You’re fired” on a half-baked reality show.
Memo to Ann Coulter: You are disgusting and despicable, and you should go hide you head in shame. But since you have no sense of shame, just go away and don’t come back.
