Trump’s Campaign Manager Snubs Clinton For Putting Real Information On Website (VIDEO)

Listening to Donald Trump’s new campaign manager, Kellyanne Conway, you might think that the internet is this new-fangled thingamajig doohickey that no one understands. Sorry, Ms. Conway, but even my five-year-old knows how to use it.

Campaign Manager Talks About Debate

Conway appeared on MSNBC with Steve Kornacki to discuss preparations for the upcoming debate in New York City. The debate, which will take place on September 26, will be the first of three in this presidential election.

One part that is especially notable is Conway’s derision of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s website. Conway said,

“We’re really excited to get out on the debate state because … we’ll be able to show up with a candidate who’s already been talking about policy. I think people who actually want to know what Hillary Clinton thinks about all these issues literally have to tune into those debates to watch it. I think that’s a shame that people have to wait until September 26, here in New York, to listen to what Hillary Clinton believes, unless you want to go to her website and click …”

Yes, that is a direct quote. Watch it for yourself below.

Can you imagine the AUDACITY of Clinton to actually put her views on issues on her WEBSITE? What kind of world are we living in?

Ms. Conway’s boss has an “issues” section of his website. It’s a bunch of short videos, under which dramatic music plays, while the Orange Menace speaks to the camera. Basically, it’s a page of commercials.

Contrast that with Clinton’s website, which lays out facts and her plan for many different issues. There is one centralized section from which the reader can click through to find out more on each issue. In other words, it’s laid out coherently and concisely.

Not only that, but Clinton has been in the national spotlight for over two decades. She has made many, many speeches on policy issues. If you don’t know where she stands, you haven’t been paying attention.

Kornacki Doesn’t Make A Peep

One of the problems with the way the media has been handling this campaign is that Trump’s people are rarely called on it when they say things like this. Kornacki just lets that bit about the website slide, as well as Conway’s statement that no one knows where Clinton stands on things.

Part of the media’s job in these interviews is to press candidates and their staff on statements and try to get the truth. Sadly, that rarely happens. Perhaps they’re just tired of it, since almost everything that comes out of the mouths of Trump’s staff and supporters is a lie.
