Marco Rubio REFUSES To Commit To Serving 6-Year Term If Re-Elected (VIDEO)

Florida Senator Marco Rubio, who is facing a tough re-election bid, said Monday that if he happens to be victorious in November, he won’t commit to serving a full six-year term, commenting:

“No one can make that commitment because you don’t know what the future’s gonna hold in your life personally or politically.”

So does this mean Rubio is already seriously considering running for the GOP nomination again in 2020? Apparently not, as Rubio also had this to say:

“I can commit to you this, and that is that if I am running to be a U.S. senator, I am fully prepared to allow the U.S. Senate to be the last political office I ever hold.”

Rubio was once thought to be one of the rising stars in the Republican Party, but his stock has gone down considerably since his dismal performance in the 2016 Presidential race, especially when he was called out by New Jersey Governor Chris Christie for repeating a line three times over the course of a few minutes during the GOP debates. Rubio initially said he would not seek re-election to his Senate seat, but later reversed himself and decided to seek another term as junior Senator from the Sunshine State.

Monday, Rubio was also asked about his support of GOP nominee Donald Trump. To that query, Rubio, who was chided by Trump as “little Marco” in the debates, commented:

“Right now the primary’s over. The Republican voters have chosen a nominee and we have a choice between two people. I do disagree with Donald on a number of things. I disagree with Hillary Clinton on everything.”

What Senator Rubio neglected to mention is that he also doesn’t possess a spine.
