With no shortage of issues to examine before the next election, why is the condition of Huma Abedin’s genitals a thing on The Alex Jones Show?
Huma Abedin is a top aide to Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton.
The show’s August 23 edition featured guest Roger Stone, a longtime friend of Donald Trump. Stone was banned from CNN and MSNBC for vulgar tweets and, according to Media Matters,
“…Calling Hillary Clinton a ‘cunt’ and advocating her execution.”
In the segment, Roger Stone elaborated on conspiracy theories about Huma Abedin. Alex Jones interrupted to ask if Abedin:
“…Had her genitals cut off.”
Stone did not know. Jones then asserted:
“I mean, that’s fair, I don’t mean that to be crass.”
Jones referred to the custom of female circumcision, which is a cultural phenomenon in some primarily Islamic countries. Naturally, the widespread practice of male circumcision wasn’t mentioned. Maybe this is because it’s a custom supported in Judeo-Christian religious tradition.
A History of Insults and Attacks
Stone and others claim that Abedin edited The Journal of Minority Muslim Affairs while working at the White House. The publication, aimed at Muslims living outside the Middle East, has produced writing considered controversial in the West.
However, a Clinton spokesman clarified that Huma’s name appeared on the masthead, but that she was not actually editing the journal.
The publication was founded by Abedin’s father. His wife assumed the Editor-in-Chief position when he died. Huma’s brother’s name was also listed. The journal appears to be a family business.
Generations Often Change Interpretations
Roger Stone assumes that the Clinton aide’s religious convictions mirror her mother’s. Yet obvious differences exist between mother and daughter.
Dr. Saleha Mahmood Abedin represents the concerns of Muslim women in international conferences.
Unlike her mother, Huma Abedin dresses Western style. She attended a British girls’ school before studying journalism at George Washington University. Her work in U.S. politics involves the concerns of a diverse nation instead of a single religion.
Roger Stone also insists that Huma Abedin is a Saudi spy, despite the fact that she’s had State Department security clearance for years.
In late 2015, Alex Jones compared her to a hippopotamus. This speculation about a public woman’s private parts marks a new low for both of them.
