Dolly Parton On Trump And Clinton: ‘I Think They’re Both Nuts’ (VIDEO)

Patriotic country queen, Dolly Parton, could care less about the election drama unfolding daily between Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and her rival, Republican, Donald Trump.

In an interview with CNN’s Brook Baldwin, Parton is asked to give her thoughts on this year’s election.

“Right now, I just don’t know. It’s just the greatest show on television right now,’ she said. ‘It’s just crazy. Right now, I’m just not sure. It’s just the biggest reality show out there, so I don’t know where we’re gonna land but I think they’re both nuts.”

Parton then gives a cute little snicker, which makes you laugh along with her. How could anyone disagree with this sweet soul?

If you’ve been following Parton’s interviews this election, it does make you question who she will be voting for.

Parton, a sassy, semi-conservative Christian, has always been a compassionate woman.

When asked by a New York Times reporter how she felt about a female president, Parton had this to say:

“Well, I think that that would be wonderful. Hillary might make as good a president as anybody ever has. I think no matter if it’s Hillary or Donald Trump, we’re gonna be plagued with PMS either way — presidential mood swings! But I personally think a woman would do a great job. I think Hillary’s very qualified. So if she gets it, I’ll certainly be behind her.”

But when the media claimed Parton was endorsing Clinton, the sharp 70-year-old had to fashionably clear the air, Dolly-style:

“‘This morning while I was watching the news I saw many reports that I had endorsed Hillary Clinton,’ she told People. “My comment about supporting a woman in the White House was taken out of context. I have not endorsed Hillary Clinton nor Donald Trump. I try not to get political.'”

The hardworking singer has been traveling the states this summer on a 60-city tour. So, if she’s going to endorse anyone for president, who else?

“…I might as well just run myself ’cause I’ve got the hair for it, it’s huge, and they could always use more boobs in the race.

Parton is known for her feminist views. She even wrote a song about working-class women:

“…workin’ 9 to 5 / what a way to make a livin’ / barely gettin’ by…”

Spill the beans, Dolly. Who are you banking on this election? I mean, how could you not vote for Clinton? Girl power, right?

Bless her heart.
