A couple of weeks ago, Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, called for Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, to be shot.
He was at a rally talking about Clinton appointing Supreme Court justices. He said:
“By the way, and if she gets the pick—if she gets the pick of her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I dunno.”
Now, he’s got his angry supporters mad at him. He has backed off of his tough stance on immigration. A campaign email said:
“On immigration, Trump is learning that the extreme positions he’s championed may have helped him win the primary but they are a barrier for him to be competitive in the general election. If he starts wavering now, the blowback from his own supporters is certain to be intense and could cause his entire candidacy to collapse without winning over any new voters he needs this fall. This looks more desperate and craven than principled at this point.”
Now, a Trump supporter is threatening the candidate’s life. A caller, “Nate from Virginia,” on Glenn Beck’s show said this about The Donald:
“As long as he does the basic things, the foundational things, which is building a wall, he’s not going to have people like me coming after him.”
As if that wasn’t bad enough, he continued:
“Oh, he’s in so much trouble. You don’t even understand the backlash of us, the ones who are so frustrated and angry and tired of all the political stuff. We’re going to come after him, personally, you know what I mean? We’re going to get him.”
Again, Nate continued:
“He’s appealing to people who are very frustrated and angry. Their frustration and anger can only be subsided if he makes his promises true. And he has a lot on his shoulders, maybe he himself doesn’t even know how much. But if he doesn’t come through for us, he’s going to have bigger problems, bigger problems than what you know.”
