Georgia Rednecks TERRIFIED Of Dead Muslims (VIDEO)

Imagine this.

Imagine that you moved far from home, to a distant country where you hoped to create a whole new life for yourself. Imagine that you were a very religious person, one who had studied your religion carefully.

Imagine that you settled into your new home, and created a little place of worship inside of a regular house in your new town. A small handful of friends and acquaintances come to services at your homey little chapel.

Pretend that you have lived in this new place for 11 happy years. You’ve been working, paying your taxes, meeting people. You have settled into your new place completely, and you’re happy there.

Now imagine that your congregation has grown. More people from your home country have moved in. More people who share your religious beliefs have arrived. You can’t fit everybody into your little worship space any more. It’s time to upgrade.

No worries, though, because your new town has a wonderful plot of land that would be just perfect. There is a Baptist church across the street, as well as a cemetery. You have long wanted to buy some land where you can perform the burial services that your congregation longs for.

You buy the land, you get the permits, you sign the deal.

You are happy.

Alas.

Unfortunately for you, you have moved to the state of Georgia, in the good ol’ U.S. of A.

Even worse for you, the congregation that you serve is Muslim. What you want to build is a mosque and adjacent cemetery.

CNN reports that news got out about a mosque being built in Newton County, Georgia. People found out that Muslim burial services were going to be held there. Holy catfish. Local people got their redneck on big time.

The usual Islamophobic bullsh*t hit social media, and the typical racist Facebook page went up.

There was outrage. There was fear. There was horror. People were shaken to think that actual prayers would be said in the building directly across the street from a church. They were outraged to think that a Muslim burial might take place in the same earth where good Christians like them were being planted.

Just what in General Lee’s name was going on around here? One local lady said:

“As a United States citizen we don’t need people that don’t want to go by our laws. What are they actually going to be doing there at the mosque?”

If I sound a little bit angry about this, its because I am. Would we be having this conversation if people were planning a synagogue?

If people in Georgia don’t understand what happens in a mosque, maybe they should try visiting one. If they are so afraid to have their burial dirt sullied by Muslim bodies, maybe they should reopen those Bibles and see what Jesus would have said about that kind of hatred.

I’ve got a pretty big back yard. I’m about ready to offer it to these poor folks who just want a place to bury Grampa.
