Trump-Supporting Lawyer-Turned-Radio Host Busted For Trafficking Meth (VIDEO)

On Friday, a conservative talk radio host from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, was arrested and charged with manufacturing and trafficking methamphetamine (meth). John Fisher is an attorney and the host of The John Fisher Show.

According to his law firm’s website:

“Before John Fisher became an attorney, he worked at his father’s funeral home business. He then went on to work in insurance – including serving as the regional vice president of a local company – before going to law school. These earlier careers taught John the value of superb customer service, which is the cornerstone of The Fisher Law Firm. Take a moment to learn more about Mr. Fisher’s background and find out what he can bring to the table in helping you.”

He was found with two “one-pot” meth labs and 369 grams of “meth oil” which is skimmed off of a batch when cooking it. Fisher was arrested for the crimes alongside Christopher Shane Rushing, 42.

A “one-pot” meth lab is used to make the drug inside of a plastic bottle. It is a more mobile way to cook the drug.

Leslie Earhart with the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee said this about the “one-pot” meth labs:

“Basically, it’s just a bottle filled with chemicals, it’s used to make meth. Some people use Powerade bottles, Gatorade bottles or any type of soda bottle.”

This has become a trend. Back to the Fisher story… Erin Edgemon said:

“The investigation began when agents were informed that a suspect dropped off a backpack containing items believed to be components of a methamphetamine lab to an unreleased location. Agents observed a second man arrive at the location and then exit carrying the backpack.”

The suspect went to a business in the 1600 block of Greensboro Avenue and dropped off a backpack that was full of supplies to cook meth.

In 2010, Fisher ran for office as a state legislator. He lost the primary to Republican Bill Poole. This was the seat formerly occupied by Robert Bentley before he became governor.

Fisher is being held on a $500,000 bond.
