The campaign of Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump is really amazing. Even as they move on to their third campaign manager in a year, they keep claiming that they are perfectly well organized.
Although they are polling at roughly two percent among Black voters, Trump insists that he will be winning 95 percent of that population in November.
This whole “reality” things seems to be a problem for Trump and his folks.
Now the Huffington Post reports that in one key county in the state of Colorado, Trump and his hopes are depending upon the efforts of a 12 year old boy.
The county is one of the most populous county in the state of Colorado, where Trump recently polled at 14 points behind Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
So this office is important, to say the least.
The campaign recently opened a brand new field office in the county, knowing just how important Colorado is in the November election. The new office is supposed to be run by a woman named Laurel Imer, who is known to be an adult.
Ms. Imer told radio station KDVR that she has turned over responsibility for the office to her son, Weston. He will be coordinating efforts to find and organize volunteers to knock on doors for Trump.
He’ll keep doing that right up until he has to go back to his middle school classroom.
The boy is supposedly in charge of a group called “Colorado Kids for Trump.” He says that he has organized the group of children, many of whom have been bullied.
How ironic is that?
The young volunteer says that his group supports Trump because they’ve been bullied. He says, though, that he’s been bullied because of his support for Trump.
OK.
So far neither the young boy nor his mother have been paid by the Trump campaign. The candidate says that he is running a “lean” campaign that is spending far less than the Clinton campaign.
Pretty “lean” if you ask me. Trump is leaning on the shoulders of a kid whose too young to shave, never mind to vote. His voice hasn’t even changed yet.
Yep.
I can sure see how people are taking this campaign seriously.
