A Beatle Endorsed Hillary Clinton: Take That, Trumpkin! (TWEETS-VIDEO)

We thought our Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, couldn’t get any cooler, but now she has one of the former Beatles supporting her. Paul McCartney tweeted this from a concert:

They met on Wednesday at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio where McCartney was playing.

One of the local radio stations, WTAM, posted the picture on Facebook and got some interesting comments:

“I saw a huge motorcade of police on motorcycles, 5 black bummers and 4 white vans come speeding out of the parking garage near the Q this afternoon. Now I know who it was for.”

“I love Paul’s music but like him just a bit less now.”

“Great pic! Rock on Sir Paul!”

Wait. Is that butthurt I see in the distance? Yes, it is.

Clinton met with McCartney privately. She said they just talked about the Olympics and their families. It was just a nice, friendly visit between two epically cool friends.

Clinton is a long-time Beatles fan. She says she listened to their music a lot when she was in college at Wellesley in 1965. She said this in a 2009 interview:

“As I went through my angst period and struggled with the challenges of living in the real world, the more existential message struck home.”

She said that McCartney and Lennon were geniuses and:

“I’m just glad that I got to live through that period.”

There are many other awesome celebrities who have endorsed Hillary Clinton.

In April, George Takei made a passionate endorsement for Clinton, he said:

“What is at stake is nothing less than the very soul of our nation. So, I’m asking Democrats out there to take a pledge along with me. Vote blue no matter who.”

I love to see so much support for her. We can all work together and make sure Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, gets destroyed in the election.

Here is a clip from The Late Late Show talking about celebrity endorsements:
