CNN Host Makes Trump Surrogate Look Like COMPLETE FOOL For Denying Facts (VIDEO)

The Trump campaign is filled with people who refuse to acknowledge that most basic facts about how the 2016 race for the White House is going. Trump is losing in every swing state and appears well on his way to losing by one of the largest margins in American electoral history.

On CNN’s “The Situation Room” Wednesday, Trump surrogate Michael Cohen appeared to discuss the latest reshuffling of top staff for the campaign, and host Brianna Keilar mentioned that Trump was losing. To that, Cohen defensively replied:

“Says who?”

Keilar told Cohen:

“The polls. Most of them. All of them.”

But Cohen refused to accept that response, once again asking:

“Says who?”

The CNN host then reiterated:

“Polls. I just told you. I answered your question.”

Factually challenged and still in deep denial, Cohen asked:

“Which polls?”

At this point, Keilar no doubt felt like she was taking part in an old Abbott and Costello routine, “Who’s on first?”  Once more she told Cohen:

“All of them.”

But this exchange is emblematic of the entire Trump operation. They seem to believe that if they deny the facts and pretend the truth isn’t real they can swing momentum to their side and create an alternate reality in which Donald Trump isn’t despised by the vast majority of American voters.

All of this makes me wonder: On Election Night, when it becomes clear that Trump is on his way to being beaten in a landslide, will he still try to say it didn’t happen? Or will he finally “pivot” and begin blaming others for his own massive failure? Either way, nothing will change the fact that Trump himself is solely to blame for his own sagging poll numbers. If he wants to know why he didn’t win, he need look no further than the mirror.
