Tim Kaine Is In A Band — And They’re Pretty Darn Good! (TWEETS, VIDEO)

Democratic presidential nominee, Tim Kaine, stopped off at a local brewery while on a campaign stop in Asheville, North Carolina. He went to Buxton Hall Barbecue for dinner, and then next door to Catawba Brewing Company.

He posed for pictures with the locals, and a few Democratic officials came by when they heard where Kaine was.

Kaine picked up a harmonica and jammed with local musicians Nikki Talley and Jason Sharp for a couple of songs.

When asked about it later, Kaine said:

“That felt great. Nothing makes me more nervous than doing that. But it’s good to get our of your comfort zone. Asheville is a pretty good place, huh?”

Not only does he love the harmonica, he was also quite a fox when he was younger. Look at these cheekbones!

He is already catching flack from the GOP. Trump has nicknamed him “Corrupt Kaine.” So unoriginal!

At the Democratic National Convention, Republicans accused him of wearing a pin with a flag from another country instead of the American flag. What he was wearing is a Blue Star Service Pin; it is a symbol recognized by the Department of Defense to represent families of service members. Kaine’s son, Nathaniel, serves in the Marines.

Vermont Senator and former Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders had this to say about Senator Kaine:

“Tim is an extremely bright guy, a very nice guy. Are his political views different than mine? Yes, they are. He is more conservative than I am. But compared to Donald Trump, a guy who rejects science, doesn’t even believe that climate change is real, let alone that we have to take bold action to transform our energy system, a Donald Trump who wants to give hundreds of billions of dollars in tax breaks to the top two-tenths of 1 percent, a Donald Trump who goes around the country insulting Mexicans and Latinos and Muslims and women, veterans and African-Americans…”

Tim Kaine is a pretty cool Vice Presidential pick.
