Yesterday, Donald Trump gave a speech in Ohio which was supposed to lay out his strategy for defeating ISIS. Instead, all he did was double down on some of the same stupid policies he’s repeated a few thousand times: Block Muslims from immigrating to the United States and use something he called “extreme vetting” to screen everyone who wants to enter the country.
Evan McMullin, who recently entered the Presidential race as a third party candidate and is also a former CIA agent, live tweeted Trump’s terrorism speech, and he quickly managed to tear down everything the Orange Menace said. Take a look:
While he was at it, McMullin also noted that Trump’s policies would leave the United States totally isolated and hated by other countries:
And McMullin offered some very legitimate criticism of how extreme Trump was, and how he sounded a great deal like the terrorists he says he wants to defeat:
Donald Trump is an absolute moron who thinks bravado and bluster can defeat a terrorist group. But as has been proven time and time again, that will not work, and Trump has no plan for anything other than his own personal aggrandizement and enrichment.
