Trump’s ISIS Strategy? Blame Everyone Else, Offer No Solutions (VIDEO)

Today was supposed to be Reset #6,543–or whatever number we’re up to now; I lost count–for the Trump campaign. The Donald was going to lay out his strategy for defeating the terrorist group ISIS and show us all just how serious he is as a candidate.

Instead, all you heard was the air leaking out of what’s left of the Trump balloon.

Speaking in Youngstown, Ohio, Trump began with this platitude, which has been spoken by every politician at least a dozen times in the past month:

“We cannot let this evil continue. We will defeat radical Islamic terrorism.”

Nope, nothing new about that. Heard it a million times. So then Trump turned to blaming everyone else for the rise of ISIS:

“We will not defeat it with closed eyes and silenced voices. We have a president who doesn’t want to say the words. Anyone who cannot name our enemy is not fit to lead our country.”

Keep in mind that line comes from a man who could not name the three parts of the American nuclear triad: Air, land, sea. But if we suddenly call ISIS Islamic terrorists, they’re gonna throw down their arms and beg for peace?

The only real specific Trump offered was this, which has also been said a few million times since the Iraq War turned bad:

“If I become president, the era of nation building will be brought to a quick and very swift end.”

As you might expect, Trump couldn’t resist taking a verbal shot at Hillary Clinton, who is thrashing him in the most recent polls:

“Hillary Clinton lacks the judgment…stability and temperament and moral character to lead our nation. She also lacks the mental and physical stamina to take on ISIS. And all of the many adversaries that we face.”

You might be tempted to chalk that statement up to Trump being ironic, but he doesn’t even know what irony is, even when he steps right into it and messes up his Italian shoes.

So if you were afraid that maybe you missed the details of Trump’s ISIS plan, don’t worry. He didn’t offer any. As usual.

This guy wants to be President? He isn’t even capable of running his own failing business.
