Boom! The Wall Street Journal Gives Ultimatum To Trump Campaign (VIDEO)

The list of powerful conservatives who are opposing Donald Trump continues to grow. From leading Congressmen to former Republican administration officials, more conservatives every day are joining the move to stop him from becoming President.

Now we can add the consistently conservative Wall Street Journal (WSJ) to those urging Trump to either turn things around or step aside.

The Hill is reporting that the editorial board of the highly respected newspaper wrote a damning editorial about Trump’s crumbling campaign.

The powerful newspaper is owned and operated by Rupert Murdoch, the billionaire news mogul. Murdoch was the creator of Fox News and has publicly announced his support of Trump’s candidacy.

He’s not exactly a bleeding heart Liberal.

Nevertheless, the editorial sounded a firm warning to Trump to either shape up, or ship out.  It warned that Trump’s opportunity to turn things around is running out of time. It said:

“Those who sold Mr. Trump to GOP voters as the man who could defeat Hillary Clinton now face a moment of truth. If they can’t get Mr. Trump to change his act by Labor Day, the GOP will have no choice but to write off the nominee as hopeless and focus on salvaging the Senate and House and other down-ballot races.”

The editorial gave key Republicans, including Trump allies Chris Christie (R-NJ) and Rudy Giuliani, until Labor Day to right itself. If Trump can’t start acting like an adult and presenting himself with some dignity, the party should write him off.

For Liberals like me, the idea of the Wall Street Journal warning the Republican presidential candidate to cut the crap is both hilarious and surreal. For the Republican Party, it’s a crisis point.

The WSJ’s editorial addressed Trump himself very directly. They stated that he has alienated his party and that the campaign he is running is totally incompetent.

They went even further, writing:

“As for Mr. Trump, he needs to stop blaming everyone else and decide if he wants to behave like someone who wants to be President—or turn the nomination over to Mike Pence.”

You gotta love it. When Rupert Murdoch sounds like the voice of reason, you know the Republicans are in some serious trouble.
