In case you didn’t know, the Republican presidential nominee, Donald Trump, is really racist. He has insulted just about every group you can think of.
Now, some Florida racist Trump supporters are flying a confederate flag with the nominee’s name on it.

The Republicans just got done trying to crucify Democratic presidential nominee, Hillary Clinton, because Omar Mateen’s father was at one of her rallies.
Later on in the evening, two black people were removed from the rally for arguing with the people who brought the Confederate flag.
An African American couple was just removed by local police after yelling between them and the group that brought the Confederate flag.

The New York Times reported:
“As he bundled up the flag, he said that if the man who had asked him to take it down was from the campaign, “then that might have just changed my vote.”
“But in a brief interview afterward, Mr. Partin acknowledged that he said that in ‘the heat of the moment’ and that he would still support Mr. Trump.”
“It kind of upsets me a little bit.”
This is not really surprising. Studies show that people who are Trump supporters are generally white, middle-class and not educated.
Before you close the window, let me show you some data. One of our fabulous Liberal America writers, Annika, reported on a study of Trump voters. These are some of the correlations with the data:
- White with no high school diploma equals correlation 0.61
- Percent reporting ancestry as “American” equals correlation 0.57
- Percent living in a mobile home equals correlation 0.54
- “Old economy” jobs including agriculture, construction, manufacturing equals correlation 0.5
Trump supporters tend to be more racist than other Republicans. Gawker reported:
“And while about eight-in-ten (78%) white Democrats say the country needs to continue making changes to achieve racial equality between whites and blacks, just 36% of white Republicans agree; 54% of white Republicans believe the country has already made the changes necessary for blacks to have equal rights with whites.”
