Will Trump Contest The Election If Clinton Wins? (VIDEO)

During the 2000 presidential election, people in Florida complained about the election being rigged. There were multiple recounts, and Al Gore eventually conceded, making George W. Bush president.

Something like that could happen again this election year, because whiny baby Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has already said he will challenge the results of the election.

The whole point of voting and elections is to let the American people have a voice. Our president should be picked by the vote of the people. Challenging the results totally defeats the purpose of voting. For someone who wants to “Make America Great Again,” this is a pretty un-American thing to do.

Trump said:

“I’m telling you, Nov. 8, we’d better be careful, because that election is going to be rigged. And I hope the Republicans are watching closely or it’s going to be taken away from us.”

Although President Barack Obama said that Trump is “unfit” to be president, he has also said that he will still help Donald Trump get acclimated to the job if he were to win. It is supposed to be a peaceful transition.

Rude, loudmouth Trump doesn’t seem to understand what that means.

This is not the first time candidates have said an election was rigged. In 2008, John McCain complained of voter fraud. In 1996, Bob Dole accused Bill Clinton of fraud.

Hopefully, Trump won’t get that far. The GOP is saying that Trump may quit, and they are scrambling to find a replacement.

Jon Carl, chief White House Correspondent for ABC News, said:

“I am told RNC [Republican National Committee] chairman Reince Priebus is furious, that he has had multiple discussions with Trump telling him he needs to drastically change course.”

If Trump quits (please do), then this would be the procedure for replacing him. Carl said:

“He would have to go out voluntarily, then it would be the 168 members of the RNC, through a complicated process, that would pick a new candidate. It would have to happen by early September.”
