The Ku Klux Klan (KKK) is a horribly racist organization. Unfortunately, they are growing; in 2015, there were 190 chapters operating. This is up from 72 chapters in 2014.
The KKK actually made an appearance at the Republican National Convention (RNC) last month. They supposedly threw urine at each other outside of the convention hall, alongside Westboro Baptist Church members and Black Lives Matter.
The KKK has endorsed Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential primaries. Trump was too slow to disavow them.
MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow managed to tear Trump a new one last month. She had this to say about Trump and the KKK endorsement from former leader David Duke:
“[A] lot of people who are critical of Donald Trump generally look at praise like that from someone like Donald Duke and wonder if he’s a gateway drug, if there is something beyond Donald Trump himself, that means a much greater transformation of the Republican Party into something that is going to be new to mainstream politics.”
Duke endorsed Donald Trump, and is now trying to get a Congressional seat. Current Trump supporters appear to follow Duke, and are actively helping Trump get elected.
Here in Alabama, the KKK and Trump supporters like to leave nasty, racist flyers at houses like this one:

Trump supporters have started giving out flyers too:

KKK flyers have been showing up around Syracuse. I'm terrified. And need to move. pic.twitter.com/8cuxIhqq1w

The stream of KKK flyers found all over the nation is sickening. In March, they left fliers at homes in Selma on the 50th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday.”
To be clear, these KKK flyers aren't artifacts from the 1965 Selma march. They're from this week. pic.twitter.com/WEfmfXOdY4 via @splcenter

But remember, right-wingers aren't racist: "KKK Distributed Flyers In #Selma For Bloody Sunday Observance:" http://t.co/IJOc1tSpTW #p2 #tcot

They even printed a nice color version:

Robert Jones, the Grand Dragon of the Loyal White Knights of the KKK, said this about the incident:
“We pretty much put out fliers, some against King and some against immigration … It’s time for the American people to wake up to these falsehoods that they preach about MLK.”
After the Orlando shootings, they left fliers outside of houses along the Golf Coast. They said:
“We will never bow to homosexuality and bestiality or other unnatural sexual perversions that go against the laws of nature and GOD.”
Unfortunately, there is still so much racism out there. I’m all for their free speech, but I don’t think David Duke should get anywhere near Congress.
Here is a news segment about Trump disavowing David Duke, albeit late:
