6 Rebuttals To The GOP War Cry Of ‘Hillary Clinton Is A Criminal’ (VIDEO)

Since she began her bid, we have heard the Republicans saying that the Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton is corrupt. We have especially heard a lot about her email servers. When Hillary Clinton epically told the orange wonder, Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump, that he should delete his Twitter account, all he could do was ask about the deleted emails.

Despite the FBI not charging Clinton, the Republicans still whine about the emails. Donald Trump even went so far as to ask the Russians to hack her email server.

In her defense, Mrs. Clinton is not the corrupt criminal everyone makes her out to be. I’ll debunk some of the lies that have been spreading about her.

1. She Caused The Death Of Captain Humayun Khan

The Khan family spoke up against Donald Trump at the Democratic National Convention; their son, Humayun Khan, died in Iraq in 2004. Donald Trump spokeswoman, Katrina Pierson made the ridiculous claim that Clinton caused their son’s death. This was five years before President Barack Obama was elected, and five years before Hillary Clinton was appointed as the Secretary of State.

2. The Emails!

The FBI decided not to press charges against Clinton for using a private email server. Two of the 55,000 emails were actually marked classified. They were wrongly marked and not actually classified. She used multiple servers for business and private emails.

FBI Director James Comey said that criminal charges would’ve been filed if she had “intentionally transmitted or willfully mishandled classified information.” She messed up by putting it on a private server, but she didn’t intentionally send any classified information. There were some classified emails in the mix, but they were not classified at the time.

Classified information sometimes doesn’t get marked that way right away. Someone needs to identify them as classified. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) admitted to faking the emails to make Clinton look guilty. He lied and wasted taxpayer money to conduct this witch hunt against her.

She has been cleared of wrongdoing, and she said she won’t store any information on private servers again. If that’s the only argument that Republicans have, then their stance is pretty weak. We can’t explore the legality of the emails without mentioning the multiple Benghazi investigations and how the GOP has tried to tie the two supposed ‘crimes’ to one another.

3. Benghazi

This is another one the GOP has been going on about for the entire election period and long before. They say that Hillary Clinton is responsible for the people who died in the Benghazi Embassy attack. There is an 800-page report that proved that Clinton did nothing wrong. She was not responsible for the deaths of those people.

There was also wasted a lot of taxpayer money on this witch hunt as well ($7 million). One of our Liberal America writers, Darrell Lucas, reported this about Gowdy back in May:

“Gowdy has effectively admitted that this “investigation” is completely illegitimate. If he has anything left in him, he will end this witch hunt and end it now. Let Gowdy know what you think on Facebook and on Twitter. And feel free to use the hashtag “#TreyShutItDown.”

4. She Created ISIS

Donald Trump wrongly claims that Hillary Clinton was responsible for the creation of ISIS.

John Pike, a defense expert and director of GlobalSecurity.org, said that the sources of ISIS are complex. He said:

“She may ‘share some of the blame’ but there is more than enough share to go around. She was in no sense the singular author of the thing.”

Politifact reported:

“There were several factors that contributed to the growing power of ISIS, but it’s misleading to pin the responsibility solely on Clinton. For starters, the roots of ISIS trace back to 2004, when Bush was president and before Clinton was Obama’s secretary of state.”

5. She Wants To Raise Taxes On The Middle Class.

At a speech, Clinton misspoke and said that she will raise taxes on the middle class. It was just a flub. An expert even analyzed the audio from the speech, and the prepared remarks said that she will not raise taxes on the middle class.

Alan Yu, a linguistics professor at the University of Chicago, said:

“It is pretty common for people to not release the final ‘t in word-final –nt clusters and is definitely not likely for someone to release the ‘t’in a three-consonant sequence like ‘ntg’ in ‘aren’t going. In any case, since she did pronounce the ‘n’ in ‘aren’t’, it is clear that she produced the negated form of the copula ‘are.’”

Clinton’s tax plan does, in fact, say that she is not raising the taxes on the middle class. She will slowly raise taxes on the wealthy.

6. She Wants To Abolish The Second Amendment.

Hillary Clinton has spoken about implementing stricter gun laws. She says that she believes in the Second Amendment, but we need more gun control.

In a 2008 presidential debate, she said:

“I believe in the Second Amendment. People have a right to bear arms. But I also believe that we can common-sensically approach this.”

In August of 2015, she said this in response to the news anchors who were killed on live television:

“We are smart enough, compassionate enough to balance legitimate Second Amendment rights concerns with preventive measures and control measures, so whatever motivated this murderer … we will not see more needless, senseless deaths.”

Dear ammosexuals, no one is going to come take your guns away.
