Donald Trump Actually Said Filipinos Are ‘Animals’ (VIDEO)

As if his comments on banning Muslims weren’t bad enough, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has now stated that he wants to ban immigration to the United States from a whole list of new countries. We are not sure which hat he pulled these names out of (or if he pulled them out of his ass), but it’s very strange.

Trump made headlines when he said he wants to put a ban on Muslims entering the country.

He has now named nine countries as terrorist nations: Afghanistan, Iraq, Morocco, Pakistan, the Philippines, Somalia, Syria, Uzbekistan and Yemen.

Trump said:

“We are letting people come in from terrorist nations that shouldn’t be allowed because you can’t vet them … You have no idea who they are. This could be the great Trojan horse of all time… This is a practice that has to stop.”

When talking about these countries, he said:

“We’re dealing with animals.”

US Senator Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii) said this regarding Trump’s newly acquired hate against the Philippines:

“Donald Trump’s latest rant suggesting we ban immigration from countries like the Philippines that are helping us fight terrorism is another example of his reckless rhetoric that’s based on fear and division and further proves he is unfit to lead our country.”

“For generations, Filipinos have made the United States their home. It is their vibrant culture, hard work, and strong values that have enriched our communities and made this country great, not the ignorant, racist bigotry of Donald Trump.”

Trump obviously doesn’t understand this whole foreign policy thing. Dear Donald, insulting your allies is not a good idea.

Did Trump forget that he has a Trump Tower in the Philippines? I guess so. The website for the project quotes Trump as having said:

“I’ve always loved the Philippines. I think it’s just a special place and Manila is one of Asia’s most spectacular cities. I know that this project will be second to none.”

Here is a news story about that:
