BREAKING: Explicit Video Scandal Involving Nebraska Republican (VIDEO)

Nebraska Senator Bill Kintner, a Republican, is facing calls to resign from Governor Pete Ricketts over an explicit video of Kintner found on his state computer. The video first came to light when Kintner, a notoriously homophobic figure in Nebraska politics, told Nebraska State Patrol about it while having computer problems, according to the Lincoln Journal Star.

The case is expected to go before the Nebraska Accountability and Disclosure Commission on August 5. Kintner refused to comment on the situation “until there is some finding, if any” by the commission.

The state’s law prohibits officials from using their state computers for personal use except in exceptional circumstances.

State Patrol said he sought help with:

What he believed to be a potential internet scam that occurred while the senator was in Massachusetts using his state computer.”

Republican Governor Ricketts has taken a dim view of Kintner’s alleged conduct. He said Friday that:

Due to the ongoing investigation of this issue, I have been unable to say anything publicly. If the allegations are true, Senator Kintner needs to resign.”

Jane Kleeb, chairwoman-elect of Nebraska’s Democratic party argued for Kintner’s resignation and more.

It is not enough for Sen. Kintner to resign in shame. Anyone that knew this information and continued to let him sit in office must also resign.”

As reported by Raw Story, nothing is known about the video other than that it is an explicit video involving Kintner. Another state Senator, Bob Krist, had a woman attempt to sell him the video, according to the Omaha World-Herald.

He reported this to the Governor, as Kintner’s wife, Lauren Kintner, works for Rickett as a senior researcher.

Kintner is virulently anti-LGBT. He has previously said that Christians should passive-aggressively provide LGBT people with poor service to show their business isn’t wanted. He is well-known in Nebraska for being a good representative for the Republican Party – homophobic, racist, and sexist.

Kintner said in the Lincoln Journal Star in 2013:

My parents taught me the moral absolutes of Christianity, and I just applied those to everything.”

If the commission comes back with a verdict against Kintner, he should have plenty of spare time to try and find a biblical passage to support his hypocrisy.
