Trump: Ask Me Anything, I’ll Tell You Nothing

Donald Trump held an “Ask Me Anything” discussion on the virulently regressive /r/The_Donald subreddit on Wednesday evening. The event, which had the mouth-breathing racists wetting their pants with excitement, wound up with Trump responding, albeit intermittently, to softball questions for about 90 minutes.

I say responding and not answering, because, as per usual, he really said nothing.

Some of the questions had substance. Trump, however, didn’t answer any of those. He chose, instead, to answer such nuggets as, “Are you getting tired of winning?”

Give me a break.

Reddit user triopat asked, “Mr. Trump, what do you feel is the greatest issue facing young Americans today?”

Trump’s response?

“The question most young people ask me is about the rising cost of education, terrible student debt and total lack of jobs. Youth unemployment is through the roof, and millions more are underemployed. It’s a total disaster! I will create millions of new jobs, reform our education system, and work to free young Americans from the awful burden of debt.”

All talk and no action. All words, but no actual answer. At least one user followed up asking HOW he planned on doing these things, but received no answer. Because Trump doesn’t have a plan to do all these things he says he’s going to do.

Another user going by the handle PM-ME-UR-BEST-PHOTO had this to say:

“Reports estimate that 90% of US media is owned by 6 companies. The US mass media has fused into a gross alliance with big business and big government as this election has shown more than any other. The dishonest media is rigging our democracy with a radical agenda that divides Americans and causes nothing but sensationalism and hatred at the expense of the USA. They are killing our country for ratings and profit, with impunity.

How will you, as president, tackle this protected class of media elites without stepping on the first amendment rights of average Americans?”

The response didn’t answer the question.

“I have been very concerned about media bias and the total dishonesty of the press. I think new media is a great way to get out the truth.”

However, my own personal favorite moment of the AMA was this little gem. Deflecting and changing the subject while simultaneously implicating himself in the non-answer.
