WATCH: Documentary PROVES That Back In The Day, ‘Classy’ Ivanka Trump Was Basically A Kardashian

So Donald Trump wants us all to believe that he is the financial genius of the century. We’re supposed to think that he and his children have spent the last 30 years in familial bliss.

Not so fast.

The Daily Beast is reporting on a documentary dating back to 2003, when Donald’s favored child, Ivanka, was just another rich kid playing with all of her money.

Nauseatingly enough, a man named Jamie Johnson decided, on a whim, to create a documentary about his pals. That might have been mildly interesting, in spite of the fact that the filmmaker had no experience whatsoever, if it had been simply a movie about a group of young people living the average American life.

It becomes much more stomach churning when we learn that Jamie Johnson was the heir to the Johnson & Johnson empire and that the title of his film was “Born Rich.” Gag me with a golden spoon, as the kids would say.

In this film, put together over a two year period, Johnson filmed his many filthy rich pals as they enjoyed the life of the pampered and beautiful. The young heirs and heiresses talked about the ennui of life in the upper class, and how no one understood them. The roster of golden children included European royalty, heirs to various financial empires, a Bloomberg child,  a Vanderbilt child, and a Trump child.

In the film, Ivanka appears at once more upbeat and more comfortable with her family name than many of the others featured. She tells a story about her father’s unbelievable self-absorption, and goes on to say how proud she is of him. She talks about the difficulties that the family had around the time of her father’s divorce from her mother, Ivana.  She says:

“I remember once my father and I were walking down Fifth Avenue and there was a homeless person sitting right outside of Trump Tower… it was around the same time as the divorce. And I remember my father pointing to him and saying, ‘You know that guy has 8 billion dollars more than me.’ Because he was in such extreme debt at that point. And me thinking, ‘What are you talking about?’ He was sitting outside of Trump Tower and I’m looking at him going… And I didn’t understand… it makes me all the more proud of my parents that they got through that.”

She was so proud of her Dad, the man who is trying to convince Americans that he is a business genius. She was so impressed by that tender moment when he pointed out that he, poor soul, was 8 billion dollars in debt, and therefore deserved more sympathy than the homeless man on the street.

Holy self-centered bull sh*t, Batman. This is really rich, if you’ll pardon the pun.
