11 Of Hillary’s Greatest Accomplishments – She Is The Best Candidate (VIDEO)

It’s official. Donald Trump is the Republican nominee. The Democratic presumptive nominee, former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has picked her running mate, Senator Tim Kaine (D-Va.). Since we need to keep a walking carrot from getting elected, I am going to show you some of Hillary Clinton’s best accomplishments during her political career to show you that she is best choice for our next president.

1. Her 1995 Speech In China

The speech in China is referring to an address she gave in China in 1995. Here is a part of this epic speech:

“As an American, I want to speak up for women in my own country—women who are raising children on the minimum wage, women who can’t afford healthcare or childcare, women whose lives are threatened by violence, including violence in their own homes.”

2. She Helped Create The State Children’s Health Insurance Program (SCHIP)

Mrs. Clinton worked hard to create a program to expand health care to women and children who were denied coverage. She worked with Ted Kennedy to create the State Children’s Health Insurance Program, SCHIP.

3. Investigating Effects On War With Gulf Veterans

Hillary Clinton headed an investigation into the mental health issues that veterans were facing when the came home from the Gulf War. This led to the coining of the term, “Golf War Syndrome.”

4. Clinton Healthcare Plan

This initiative actually failed, but it paved the way for the Affordable Care Act – Obamacare – that we have today. Of course, the Clinton plan failed because of Republican obstruction. The Republicans today are trying to kill Obamacare.

5. Helping The New York First Responders After 9/11

The 9/11 attack occurred just nine months after she had been elected as Senator from New York. She fought to get the brave first responders the healthcare they needed. Some of these people experienced long-lasting health problems after the attack, and Mrs. Clinton helped them get the care they deserve.

6. Advocating LGBT Rights

She waited to announce her running mate until this week. She went to Orlando to spend time with the victims of the Pulse shooting. Orlando commissioner, Patty Sheehan, said this about the visit:

Clinton obviously has a lot of love for the LGBT community. In June, she became the first presidential candidate to join in a Pride parade.

7. Fighting For Families

When she graduated law school, she worked for the Children’s Defense Fund. She worked with teenagers who were incarcerated in adult prisons, and she worked with families with disabled children.

8. Created Office For Violence Against Women

In the Justice Department, Clinton founded the office for Violence Against Women.

9. Healthcare For Military Families

She helped to make sure that veterans returning home from war had proper healthcare. She also helped make sure that people in the military get the family leave they deserve.

10. Negotiated A Cease-Fire With Israel And Hamas

She went over there as a United States diplomat. She negotiated the cease-fire within 24 hours of her landing in the region.

11. Last, But Not Least…

She is the first woman to be nominated for president by either of the two major parties.

These are just a few of her accomplishments. Hopefully, she will accomplish even more as our next President Of The United States.

Today, she said in an interview that she believes in the separation of church and state. Here is a news clip from 60 Minutes:
