Watch: Laura Ingraham Makes The Worst Gesture Ever, Especially For The RNC

By now, we have all seen that nothing gets past Twitter users. With the Republican National Convention (RNC) taking place in Cleveland this week, Twitter has had a blast.

Apparently, the world of Twitter seems to have made it their public service to call out various mishaps at the RNC.

One of the latest trends is about conservative political commentator Laura Ingraham, the woman who appears to have made a shocking gesture during the end of her speech recently.

Seemingly well received, the crowd went wild when Ingraham took the stage. She jokingly told them to “sit down” when the cheers lasted a little too long. Ingraham then went on to talk about her experiences as a second generation Polish-American and the various ways that has impacted her identity. She recounted this story:

“Mommy, why are people burning the American flag?” And my mom said ‘Honey, because their parents did not teach them about respect.’”

The aforementioned quote was one of many made on the issues Ingraham has seen as the child of immigrants. She then went on to discuss the “lack of respect” that she feels runs rampant in the United States.

Some specifics that she felt worth mentioning included, law enforcement interactions, abortion, elder interactions, and of course Hillary Clinton. The RNC theme evidently.

Actually, a very LARGE percentage of her speech was Clinton blasts and Donald Trump comparisons, like this one:

“She believes there is a government solution for every problem. No, Hillary Clinton, a you ARE the problem.”

Being a Reaganite, she mentioned Ronald Reagan and said Trump will solve the issues in a Reagan like fashion:

“You know why Donald Trump won the nomination? It’s because he dared to call out the phonies, the frauds, and the corruption that has gone unexposed and uncovered for too long!”

It was a big hit to her fellow Republicans. Then, as she began to wave to the crowd, she chose the world’s most awkward gesture to close out her speech.

Right on cue, Twitter wasted no time calling it out. Check out some of the tweets here:

Finally, my personal favorite.

In conclusion, my question is — Who the hell waves like that? If it truly was unintentional, it was definitely the ugliest wave I have ever seen.

What about you? Where are my conspiracy theorist? Do you think it was a strategically placed symbol not meant to be detected? Twitter has made their opinion on the incident very clear.
