WATCH: Represent! Ben Carson Called Out Lucifer At The Republican National Convention

Ben Carson, the retired doctor and former presidential candidate, gave a very strange speech at the convention yesterday. He somehow linked Lucifer to Hillary Clinton.

Hillary Clinton wrote her college thesis on Saul Alinsky, a famous writer and community organizer. Alinsky was known for organizing social protests in Chicago. Ben Carson brought this fact up during his speech at the Republican Convention. He said in part:

“… One of the things that I have learned about Hillary Clinton is that one of her heroes, her mentors, was Saul Alinsky.”

“And her senior thesis was about Saul Alinsky.”

“This was someone that she greatly admired and that affected all of her philosophies, subsequently. Now interestingly enough, let me tell you something about Saul Alinsky. He wrote a book called Rules for Radicals. On the dedication page, it acknowledges Lucifer, the original radical who gained his own kingdom.”

“Now think about that. This is a nation where our founding document, the Declaration of Independence, talks about certain inalienable rights that come from our Creator. This is a nation where our Pledge of Allegiance says we are one nation “Under God.” This is a nation where every coin in our pocket and every bill in our wallet says “In God We Trust.” So are we willing to elect someone as President who has as their role model, somebody who acknowledges Lucifer? Think about that!”

Carson somehow used this to claim that Hillary Clinton is a devil-worshipper. It might have been okay if he was being sarcastic, but he seemed to really mean these angry words. He didn’t really make a concrete point in his angry ramblings. There are some factual errors as well. “Under God” wasn’t added to our pledge until 1954, and “In God We Trust” wasn’t added until the ’50s

Not only was he spouting angry things, there was something physically wrong with him. He was speaking out of one corner of his mouth, and his eyes appeared unfocused.

Carson just needs to stay out of politics.
