WATCH: Gov. Nikki Haley HILARIOUSLY Just Grimaced And Endorsed Donald Trump

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) wanted GOP Sen. Marco Rubio to be president. She endorsed him even when it was clear that he was not going to get even close to the nomination. I’m sure her disappointment at Rubio’s loss of his own home state was devastating to her. But alas….

Here she is FINALLY endorsing Donald Trump. Sort of.

When Haley arrived in Cleveland for the RNC convention this week, she spoke out harshly against Pres. Obama and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, but she NEVER mentioned her own party’s nominee.

Haley’s endorsement isn’t surprising, though, despite the fact that she recently said that Trump’s rhetoric could lead to violent tragedy — and in fact DID in her own state. On the June anniversary of the massacre of nine black worshipers in her state, she flat out said that Donald Trump’s rhetoric was the cause of the tragedy.

From the HuffPo article:

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley said Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump should use a more civil tone while campaigning, warning that divisive rhetoric could ultimately lead to violence on par with the 2015 Charleston church massacre.

I know what that rhetoric can do,” the Republican governor told The Associated Press on Thursday. “I saw it happen.”

Haley has also called on Americans to reject the “angriest voices” (and who is angrier than Trump and his supporters???) when it comes to anti-immigration rhetoric. From USA Today:

In her most high-profile remarks — the GOP rebuttal to President Obama’s State of the Union speech in January — Haley recounted her own story as the daughter of Indian immigrants. She called on Americans to reject “the angriest voices,” a clear rebuke to Trump’s anti-immigrant statements and positions.

“No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country,” she said in that speech.

Watch below, when she took a swipe at Trump earlier in the campaign.

But in the end, Nikki Haley is willing to hold her nose vote for a vile human being who represents everything she detests. Nice.
