Caitlyn Jenner Seems To Be Bringing Her Agenda To The Republican Convention (VIDEO)

Caitlyn Jenner has been tweeting how excited she is to be going to the Republican Convention in Cleveland. Apparently Jenner has praised “courageous Republicans” who support the LGBT community.

The use of the word “courageous” implies that even she thinks it is unusual for Republicans to be supportive of LGBT issues.

What exactly will Caitlyn Jenner be doing at the convention? It is not confirmed but there are rumors she may be making a speech. On July 8, she tweeted:

More recently Jenner tweeted that an anti-discrimination advert will appear at the Republican Convention. In fact, The Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) shared a link to FairnessUSA where you can watch the national transgender equality ad.

In reply to her Twitter announcements, many have made comments asking why she would support the Republican Party, especially when Pence is famed for having an anti-gay stance. These comments go unanswered by Jenner.

If Trump’s VP is unsupportive of LGBT issues, how do they plan on making policy decisions on these in unison? It would be fun to be a fly on the wall if Jenner and Pence happen to get stuck together at the Convention over drinks.

Reportedly, she is attending a brunch in support of LGBT issues, such as discrimination. It is no doubt a worthy cause, just an unlikely pairing with conservative politics. Donald Trump is said to back LGBT rights and has told her she can use whichever bathroom she likes.

As for her affiliation with the Republican Party, Jenner made her views clear when she appeared on Ellen shortly after coming out as transgender. Ellen was surprised at Jenner’s conservative stance against gay marriage.

When questioned, Caitlyn said that although she originally believed in “traditional” marriage between a man and a woman, she had recently changed her thinking. Jenner was also not at a stage where she could say whether she would be dating men or women.
