The Obamas attended a memorial for the police killed in Dallas. Former President George W. Bush and Laura Bush were also in attendance. Have you missed ridiculing “Dubya?” No worries, I have some fresh material for you.
While they were at this solemn memorial, President Bush started dancing while the choir was singing “Battle Hymn of the Republic.” The social media networks collectively cringed at this idiot. It was a somber occasion; Bush had the absolute wrong moves.
He was holding hands with Michelle Obama and his wife, Laura. They both have some very bewildered looks on their faces. That is woman speak for “Stop it!” We’ve all seen it before. I bet the Bushes had a big fight that night.
Dubya sort of redeemed himself during his speech. He said:
“Too often we judge other groups by their worst examples while judging ourselves by our best intentions.”
Additionally, he said:
“At times it feels like the forces pulling us apart are stronger than the forces binding us together. Argument turns too easily into animosity.”
“We do not want the unity of grief nor do we want the unity of fear. We want the unity of hope, affection and high purpose.”
“None of us were prepared or could be prepared for such an ambush with malice. The shock of this evil has not faded. At times it seems the forces pulling us apart are stronger than the forces binding us together.”
I’m shocked at this, myself. You would think a 70-year-old man and former president would know how to behave at a funeral. However, this is “Dubya” we’re talking about.

One CNN user had this to say about it:
“What an awkward time to be dancing like that. I feel like Michelle’s face is like ‘what is this guy doing?’ ”
