Trump-Inspired Racist Says He Is Being ‘Nailed To The Cross’ (VIDEO)

There’s a candidate for state office in Tennessee who has posted campaign signs along the highway advertising that he will “Make America White Again!”

Of course there is. What did Donald Trump expect when he picked his slogan and then worked to appeal to racists?

The candidate for public office who posted the disturbing signs is Rick Tyler, a Trump supporter who is running for Congress in the Tennessee’s Third District. He is a completely unapologetic bigot.

He is also more than happy to share his homophobia.

RawStory is reporting that there was a very strong backlash after Tyler posted his billboards. The whole “Make America White Again” theme was obviously pretty nauseating for a lot of people in the state.

Good for them.

Tyler faced a boycott of his restaurant business after his Trump-inspired billboards appeared along the roadway. Of course, as racists always do, he denied that he had any animosity toward people of color. Tyler then proved himself to be a complete moron.  He just wanted to turn the clock back, he said, to the:

“…1960s, Ozzie and Harriet, Leave it to Beaver time when there were no break-ins; no violent crime; no mass immigration.”

Holy stupidity. No violent crime? The 1960’s? Really???? I guess the Manson murders never happened, huh? No crazy guys with guns ever assassinated any key political figures in the 60’s, right?

We know that Trump and his gang make up their own facts as they go along, so this shouldn’t really come as a surprise. The people of Tennessee, though, had a strong reaction to the disgusting messages on the billboards, and they went beyond the boycott of Tyler’s restaurants.

Josiah Vacheresse, executive director for Court Appointed Special Advocates for Children, decided to stop the local bigot from posting any more signs. He asked family and friends to help him buy up billboard space where he posted uplifting quotes, like one by Nelson Mandela which said:

“No one is born hating another person.”

Lovely. Especially when put in contrast to the hate speech of the candidate.

So how did Mr. Tyler respond?

“It’s great that they are able to say what they want to say. What’s tragic is that I’m not able to. I’m not allowed to. My First Amendment right is being nailed to the cross.”

Yeah. You’re just so much like Jesus, Mr. Tyler. Just so much like him. So tragic that you don’t get to post your ignorance all along the highway.

If I were you, I’d avoid going outside during lightning storms.
