(WATCH) Islamic Butcher Shop In The U.K. Viciously Firebombed

Earlier this month, we dealt with one of the worst mass shootings in history. Although the attacker, Omar Mateen, yelled out that he was loyal to ISIS, we are not sure that it wasn’t motivated by homophobia. His lover spoke out saying that Omar Mateen had an HIV scare which made him angry toward gay people.

The anti-Islamic hate is everywhere, unfortunately. A halal butcher shop, Kashmir Meat & Poultry, in the United Kingdom (U.K.) was attacked by a “petrol bomb.”

The manager, Bashir Hussain, who was in the store during the attack, was not injured. However, most of the store was destroyed by the flames.

He was bruised when the Molotov cocktail hit him, but he didn’t have any other injuries. Here is a shot of the inside of the store taken by a witness:

The owner, Jamal Hussain, was very upset and seemed in shock when he was talking to the news. Hussain said:

“Yesterday somebody came to the shop – and the workers inside saw they had made a petrol bomb.”

“They threw it in the shop and the fire started – the fire brigade and the police came.”

Detective Inspector, Greg Evans, said:

“The inquiry is at an early stage and I am keeping an open mind as to the motive.”

“The man was not seriously injured but it could have been much more serious.”

Mary Walker, a resident of the neighborhood said:

“I have overheard people making comments to Eastern European residents and Muslims that they should go home now. Just because we voted to leave the EU it doesn’t mean we should only be a country of white Brits. I’m positive the man who runs it isn’t even European, it’s just mindless racism which people think is OK now just because we voted out. This poor butcher works hard for a living, which I bet is more than you can say for the idiot who did this.”
