BUSTED: Trump U Grads Who Defend The Donald Also Have Financial Relationship With Him

In attempt to try and overcome the wave of negative publicity generated by the released of all court documents related to the class action lawsuit brought by former students of Trump University, the Trump campaign released a video yesterday showing some former students who praised their experience at Trump U. If you missed the video, here it is:

The problem with this video and the people shown in it is that many of them have benefitted from a business relationship with Trump.

One of those is Michelle Gunn. Gunn praises the “education” she claims she received and even goes so far as to say that it’s not Trump U’s fault its alums had the drive to become as big of a success as her. Gunn goes on to say:

“I have to sit back and think to myself, if they were given the same information, the same education, and the same opportunity, how come they didn’t have the same results? And I think that is because you have to take action upon yourself. You have to go out and make it happen.”

Now here’s the rest of the facts about Michelle Gunn. According to the Associated Press:

“Not mentioned by the campaign is that the celebrity billionaire previously endorsed a self-help book authored by Gunn’s teenage son, titled ‘Schooled for Success: How I Plan to Graduate from High School a Millionaire.’ A website promoting the book also features a photo of a smiling Houston Gunn posing with Trump in what appears to be the then reality TV star’s Trump Tower office.”

Also appearing on the video is Casey Hoban, who raves about the “incalculable” profits he’s made as a result of a two-day Trump U seminar. But Hoban neglected to mention this pertinent information:

“Not disclosed by the campaign is that Hoban is also a Trump family acquaintance whose protein-infused water is stocked at Trump’s golf courses, restaurants and resorts.”

And then there’s Kent Moyer, who says the experiences with Trump directly led him to enroll at the Wharton School of Business, the school that Donald Trump happens to be an alumnus of. AP reports there’s more to that claim than meets the eye:

“Moyer has described himself in media appearances and in written materials as an alumnus of the Wharton School, of which Trump and some of his children are graduates. Moyer clarified to the AP that he had attended two-week executive seminars offered by Wharton and had never been academically enrolled as a student at the university. He does not have a bachelor’s degree.”

Nice try, Donald, but now we know the truth, and the evidence still points to one irrefutable fact: You’re a con man who would scam his own mother to make a buck.
