PGA P*sses Off The Donald By Moving Tournament To Mexico

Donald Trump’s hateful rhetoric is costing him a lot of opportunities. The Professional Golf Association (PGA) is changing the location of one of their tournaments. After deciding not to have the event at Trump’s Doral Resort in Miami they are moving it to Mexico City.

Donald Trump started his campaign by labeling Mexicans as rapists and drug dealers. He has been spouting off about building a wall at the Mexican border. The Mexican President Vicente slammed Trump’s racist border wall, so obviously many Mexicans and Hispanic people are mad at Donald Trump and his racist idiocy.

The tournament has been held in Miami since 1962. It started out being called the Doral Country Club Invitational. Since 2011, it has been called the World Golf Championships-Cadillac Championship. Starting in 2017, it will now be World Golf Championships-Mexico Championship. A Mexican company, Grupo Salinas, picked up the sponsorship when no American company would.

The Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez said:

“Obviously, if there were trying for a long time, I didn’t think I was going to have any success in getting a sponsor. Maybe the Donald Trump people, or Trump himself, could come up with more money. That’s up to them.”

The PGA is still trying to distance themselves from the things Tiger Woods did. They are trying to separate themselves from their past of denying entry to women, African-Americans, and other groups of people. Naturally, they don’t want to be seen as condoning Donald Trump’s nasty racist comments.

Cadillac has pulled out as a sponsor, and no one wanted to touch Donald Trump’s resort. The Fox News reporters in the video below say that these sponsors are “bowing to the left wing media.” Trump himself had this to say about the move when he was on Fox News recently:

“They’re moving it to Mexico City which, by the way, I hope they have kidnapping insurance.”
