WATCH: Trump ’Wants To Set Records With Women’ And ‘The Daily Show’ Is Having A Blast (Video)

Trevor Noah opened The Daily Show on Thursday night by setting up for a likability battle between Donald Trump (R-N.Y.) and former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton (D-N.Y.). Noah referred to polls, showing that,

“Hillary Clinton is the second most unlikable major candidate ever to run for president.”

That of course led to the question of who was the most disliked. Can anyone not guess who?

“While Donald Trump is widely disliked, he’s especially disliked by women.”

Video clips were shown with the title “Tales from the Trump archive” about how he can’t help being a chauvinist. First up was his infamous speech in Albuquerque,

“I keep hearing about this women thing. I think I’m doing really well with women, but what do I know, what do I know. They say I’m setting records with men, aaah, that’s so unexciting to me. I want to set records with women, not with men.”

Another clip showed Trump complaining about Sec. Clinton’s voice driving him crazy, which led Noah to comment,

“His ears are sensitive to reason and facts, what’s why it hurts him. And it’s really hard for him to fully cover his ears with those tiny hands of his.”

This is when The Daily Show made a deep dig into the Trump archives, traveled decades back in time to find clips of interviews with Trump nobody has seen since airing in 1994. Here he’s talking about why he’s uncomfortable with his wife at the time, Marla, working,

“I don’t want to sound too much like a chauvinist, but when I come home and dinner is not ready, I go through the roof.”

Noah’s thoughts on this? If he didn’t want to sound like a chauvinist, he didn’t try very hard not to. Concluding that this is how Trump sees relationships with women, he said,

“He works. The woman cooks. And after a few years, he trades her in for a newer model.”

The segment ended with modeling pictures of Trump’s three consecutive model wives; Ivana, Marla and Melania.

But Thursday’s show had more points to make on the likability polls and women. Correspondent Michelle Wolf did a hilarious report on Sec. Clinton,

“You’re not running to be everybody’s friend. You’re running to be the boss. And no-one likes their boss.”

After making fun of Noah’s speech and dimples, and him being her boss, she continued,

“People always complain that Hillary doesn’t seem like a candidate you can get a beer with. Maybe SHE doesn’t wanna get a bear with YOU.”

After a few hilarities, she moved on to slam Trump’s sensitive ears,

“Oh no, she has a shrill voice, it hurts my man-head. Look, take it from someone else who has a shrill voice. Maybe it’s not her problem. Maybe you just need to fix your b**ch ass ears.”

Wolf made the final point of why we need Sec. Clinton vs. Trump by saying,

“No-one likes their boss. And Hillary, we need you to be our boss. We don’t want you to be but we need you to be. Because if you aren’t, in a couple of years we’re going to be eating grilled squirrel from a hole in the ground with our children asking ’but why do we have to live like this Mommy?’ and we’ll have to respond ’we didn’t vote for the smart lady because of some emails she sent from a different server.'”
