Sometimes social media outdoes itself and brings the funny in a major way. And this is definitely one of those times.
You may recall that Donald Trump said he’d be glad to debate Bernie Sanders if someone came up with $10 million and agreed to donate the loot to charity. Well, just today a tech firm ponied up the money. But, Trump being the habitual liar that he is and always has been, backed out of the promise.
Within an hour of Trump backing away from the debate agreement, a new hashtag showed up on Twitter: #ChickenTrump. Here’s a small sampling of what has already been posted under that now viral hashtag:
