Utah Father Assaulted For Taking His Children To The Bathroom (VIDEO)

The craziness over this issue is getting really intense. Naturally, I”m talking about transgender people using the restroom. It started with North Carolina passing the infamous HB2 law, which forces transgender people to use the bathroom associated with the gender they were born with not their current gender identity. Governor Pat McCrory, wants to alter the Civil Rights Act of 1964, so he can have segregated bathrooms.

Currently, there are around 700,000 people in the U.S. that are transgender; that’s 0.3% of the population. These RWNJs are making it seem like transgender people are hiding in every restroom.

Target has received a lot of hatred from the right since they released a statement saying that transgender people are allowed to use the bathrooms they want to at Target. There have been several cases of RWNJs going into Target stores and preaching at people. Just recently, a young lady was told to leave a public restroom because she has short hair and was mistaken for a boy.

Now, it’s starting to get uglier. A Utah man, Christopher Adams, was attacked at a Walmart for taking his daughter into the men’s room. They were shopping at the store on Saturday. His two children, 7-year-old Kyler, and 5-year-old Emery both needed to use the restroom. So, he took them both to the restroom in the back of the store.

Adams said:

“This guy walks in and goes to the bathroom, the urinal. Then he just, like, turns to me and starts freaking out, dropping the ‘F-bomb,’ and what he was freaking out about was that my daughter was in the men’s bathroom.”

Adams gave a tense response, and then the man pushed Adams, who was trying to get out of the restroom. The father struggled to defend himself against punches to the face and kicks to the knee. Christopher then pinned the attacker to the ground and held him there until some Walmart associates could assist him.

Police Lieutenant Shawn Stoker had this to say about the incident:

“This is a situation where a father felt the most reasonable and safe thing for him to do is to take his children inside the restroom with him, and the customer took exception to that.”

The attacker was cited for disorderly conduct, but he was not arrested. The city attorney is considering an assault charge.

Is this what Republicans wanted when they passed that bill? No one should have to fear using the restroom.
