This Idiot Tried A Creative Way Of Smoking On An Airplane

A flight from Munich to Vancouver had to stop and be re-routed to Hamburg when a man tried to open the airplane door and have a cigarette at 38,000 feet. Lufthansa flight LH476 was forced to land so the smoking man could be removed from the plane.

Cabin crew said the man was at the back of the plane and he was very agitated. The passengers around him became frightened when he was trying to pry the back door open. The flight was delayed by three hours with the re-route to Hamburg.

One witness, Dan Iosch, was in first class while this was happening. He had this to say about the good job the captain performed:

“The captain was amazing. He had everything in hand and he was calm, but he redirected the plane to Hamburg immediately and we were cleared in straight away.”

At least the smoking guy was kicked off for a valid reason. Recently, there was another case of a man being removed from a flight recently for a stupid reason. This man appeared to be Muslim, and someone reported that he was writing something in Arabic. It turns out he was a mathematics professor writing equations.

This is not the most ridiculous story about people being removed from planes. Last summer, a man was removed from the plane for going against the Texas governor’s stance on gay marriage. This man was on the plane while Gov. Greg Abbot was flying home from an event in New York.

The offender went up to Gov. Abbot and shook his hand. Then, he proceeded to cuss at the governor for his backward stance on gay marriage. All the guy did was talk; he wasn’t doing anything bad to the governor. This man was removed from the flight and rescheduled for another plane leaving the next day from the same airport.
