Hillary and Bernie supporters, pay attention, because this is happening. I honestly didn’t think Trump fans had the capacity to pull off.
But they have.
There’s a moral to this story: Democrats spend way too much time gloating about how smart we are and how stupid Trump and his supporters are. It turns out that this arrogance has a consequence. Who knew?
A small group of trolls, in an effort to Make America Great Again, have started a mini-campaign in which they use various social media to instigate division between Hillary Clinton supporters and Bernie Sanders supporters.
Many of us figured this has been going on for some time now. I mean, some of the arguments in online Bernie/Hillary debates are the same arguments I was reading on conservative sites just a few months ago, so either liberals are looking to conservative sites for primary ammo, or conservatives are trolling liberal sites pretending to be liberals.
Based on screenshots courtesy of Bethania Palma Markus of Raw Story, the latter appears to be very real. The only question that remains is whether this is a singular occurrence, or if it is far more rampant and has played a more significant role in the divisions playing out in the Democratic primary.
The organizer in this case started organizing on 4chan, where he also announced the Twitter page he was using to troll.

Come on, Democrats, can we really call ourselves the smart ones and still fall for this? Bernie supporters and Hillary supporters, we have to consider that certain “facts” being bandied about could be coming from anywhere, and may actually be coming from conservatives.
In the 4chan posts below, there are several ideas to organize systematic trolling, including having one group target Bernie supporters and convince them that Bernie should team up with Green Party candidate Jill Stein.
These disgusting people know what all of us should know: Trump’s only chance to win is if Democrats divide in anger. The reality is that the differences between Hillary and Bernie are not nearly as wide as these conservative trolls want us to believe. You don’t even need to believe me; let Senator Elizabeth Warren tell it.
“Let’s be clear about where the differences are because this is what I really love seeing. Democrats are out there fighting over the things that affect America’s families. So, for example, 70 percent of young people today have got to borrow money in order to go to college. So, between Secretary Clinton and Senator Sanders, they’re talking about should it be free college or should it be debt free college. God bless, that is the right place to have the discussion.”
