WATCH: Sheriff Joe Arpaio Sticks It To…Bestiality?

Maricopa County’s resident high-profile racist, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, is in the news again over a video he has released condemning bestiality. Wait, what?

Arpaio is a notorious voice in the racist and bigoted community, which of course he is because he supports Trump. His record as a sheriff is also questionable, with him allegedly serving spoiled food to people he’s incarcerated and being held in contempt for racial profiling against people he believed to be illegal immigrants.

It seems all of that just pales in comparison to the horrific image he’s conjured up in his mind of countless godless men going at the barnyard like it’s a brothel.

If you just listen to the video, it sounds like he believes that a significant number of people are doing this. I hate to tell you Joe, but I think there are a hell of a lot more transsexuals in this country than zoophiles. Aren’t you far right types supposed to believe they are the real threat? What about our bathrooms, Joe?! If you’re going against these barn chasers, who is going to protect the sanctity of our bathrooms?!

In the video, he puts on his “America’s toughest sheriff” (as he calls himself) face and claims:

“Statistics show that those that get involved with sex with animals, a high percentage then get involved with young children. So there’s a bigger picture. It’s bad enough messing with the animals. So we have to do everything we can to stop this activity.”

Now, look. I don’t want to be seen as someone who sympathizes with zoophiles. I’m just saying where’s the proof?! Show us the statistics. I mean people who are into other types of fetishes don’t just turn around and go “Hmm…I think I want to screw kids now.” Why would they? A fetish is a fetish. Some are really…out there, but it doesn’t necessarily mean they cross over into abuse and criminality.

Bestiality is illegal in Arizona, so of course someone should be locked up for sexually assaulting a chicken, but don’t then turn around and scare your entire population with the idea of these sexual deviants that are going to be coming after their kids in massive numbers, because that’s just not going to happen. It’s a totally false witch hunt and you know it. But that’s how Republicans get votes and support. By fear mongering about ridiculous nonsense. What did Bush say over and over to get re-elected? Oh, that’s right it was “weapons of mass destruction.”

If pedophiles are your real concern, why don’t you just launch a bigger campaign against them? Oh, wait. Didn’t think of that? Well, you can just have that idea as a freebie if you’d like, courtesy of me. Now get out there and fight the real threats and not the imaginary ones in your mind.
