No doubt you’ve heard of Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virgina. It was founded by the always sanctimonious Jerry Falwell, who also created the so-called Moral Majority. Falwell died in 2007, so his son, aptly named Jerry Falwell, Jr., took over as head of the school.
The younger Falwell has made some controversial comments and suggestions in recent months, including allowing students to open carry guns on campus. Additionally, Falwell is supporting Donald Trump in the 2016 election, proving that he’s just as perpetually ignorant and right-wing as his late father.
As if that’s not bad enough, Above the Law released a list yesterday which shows the ten American law schools which have the highest unemployment rate among their graduates. Liberty University has the dubious honor of number four on that list, with an unemployment rate for its law school graduates of a whopping 26 percent! One-fourth of all their law school grads cannot find a job when they get out of school. How’s that for God’s will!
So if you know someone who’s thinking of going to law school at Liberty, tell they’d do better to go get a job at McDonald’s or Walmart. At least that way they’d actually be employed.
