Noam Chomsky: GOP Is ‘The Most Dangerous Organization In Human History’ (VIDEO)

Noam Chomsky is a renowned political theorist. He has a Ph.D. in linguistics from MIT, and he has been a professor there since 1955. He has been published many times for work in his field and in politics as well.

Chomsky has come right out and said that the GOP could be “the most dangerous organization in human history.” He thinks Trump is just an extremist version of the direction the GOP has taken in recent years:

“Every time a candidate came up from the base—Bachmann, McCain, Santorum, Huckabee, one crazier than the other—every time one rose from the base, the Republican establishment sought to beat them down and get their own—get their own man—you know, Romney. And they succeeded, until this year. This year the same thing happened, and they didn’t succeed. The pressure from the base was too great for them to beat it back.”

He believes that they present serious threats to the future of our world:

“[T]he fact of the matter is that today’s Republican Party qualify as candidates for the most dangerous organization in human history. Just take their position on the two major issues that face us: climate change, nuclear war. On climate change, it’s not even debatable. They’re saying, ‘Let’s race to the precipice. Let’s make sure that our grandchildren have the worst possible life.’”

On the subject of climate change, he thinks Republicans are going to “destroy the world’ with their climate change denial. Even after most scientists agree that climate change is happening, Republicans still refuse to believe it. Ninety-seven percent of climate scientists believe it is happening and it is caused by human activity.

Republican hate and fear-mongering are going to destroy us. They don’t believe in climate change. They practice hate against women, the LGBT community, and other minorities. This has led to a racist reality running for president.

Here is a video of Chomsky on the subject:
