Woman Who Donated Her Hair Kicked Out Of A Bathroom For Ridiculous Reason (VIDEO)

Lately, we have been bombarded with conservative fear-mongering over transgender people using public restrooms, especially in North Carolina. Now, the bathroom wars have begun and they are spreading.

There was already a case of a woman being dragged out of the ladies room for not “looking like a woman.” I guess these conservatives think all women have long flowing hair and wear skirts. This girl was wearing short hair, jeans, and a t-shirt. So, the police thought she was a boy and dragged her out of the restroom because she didn’t have ID to prove that she is a girl.

Here is another case of bathroom harassment, this time from Connecticut. Aimee Toms was harassed at a Walmart public bathroom because of her short hair. She is wearing her hair very short these days because she just donated her hair to cancer patients.

Toms was wearing a baseball cap with her short hair. Some woman came up to her while she was washing her hands and said:

“You’re disgusting! You don’t belong here!”

She posted a video on Facebook about the experience and how it opened her eyes to the abuse transgender people face every day.

Here is a taste of Toms’ rant:

“After experiencing the discrimination they face firsthand, I cannot fathom the discrimination transgender people must face in a lifetime. Can you imagine going out every day and having people tell you you should not be who you are or that people will not accept you as who you are? No one was telling these people to be scared of transgender people before. No one was telling them that they should be throwing people out of bathrooms. As if it wasn’t scary enough for transgender people to use the bathroom before.”

The fact that the issue is becoming this divisive is silly to me. Don’t we have better things to worry about than who pees where?
