Donald Trump Planning To Be King

Barbara Res knows Donald Trump. She knows him well, and has for a long time.

Res used to work as the head of construction at Trump Tower. Here is what she had to say about her former boss:

“I think he thinks he’s going to be king!”

In an interview on The Hill, Res said that she had seen Donald Trump change over the years. When she first started to work for him, Trump was friendly and warm. He was respectful to women, treating them the same way that he treated the men.

So I guess he really has changed!

Res worked for Trump for 18 years, from 1978 to 1996, a time when his fame really took off. Res saw him become more full of himself, more impressed with his own specialness. She says that the Trump we are being endlessly exposed to now is “angrier now than I have ever seen him.”

She also says this:

“I see it right now on the campaign trail — it brings me back, to be honest with you, and not in a pleasant way.”

The former Trump executive is surprised that the man she knew would really want to be President.

“I couldn’t imagine him ever doing a job where he would be beholden not to one person but 300 million.”

That is why she said that she thinks he’s planning to be king!

He doesn’t seem to understand that the United States government isn’t actually a monarchy. There are three distinct branches. And only one of them is the Executive.

Barbara Res, who plans to vote Democrat, doesn’t think Trump is made of the right stuff to be President. She doesn’t think he has the right temperament.

“He got very angry. He would — his face would get red, and his lips would get white, and he would yell and scream.”

Whoo. I agree. That doesn’t sound like the right temperament for a President.

But it sounds a lot like some Kings.
