Clinton And Sanders Supporters Clash At Nevada State Democratic Party (Video)

It seems that Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders supporters took a page out of the Republicans playbook Saturday, May 14. At the Nevada State Democratic Party, which goes from May 13 to May 15, things turned violent to the point where a medic was called in to assist.

As The Hill reports:

“Tensions were high at the Democratic convention in Nevada Saturday, with Bernie Sanders supporters demanding delegate recounts, booing Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) and causing other disruptions, according to local media reports.”

It doesn’t really take news reports to get a sense of the chaos that erupted. Since this is the age of video, many that were in attendance caught some of the action. Some have already made it to YouTube and Twitter.

Here, Boxer can be seen being booed as she says:

“…the future of the country is at stake. When you boo me, you’re booing Bernie Sanders. Go ahead. You’re booing Bernie Sanders.”

The Hill also points out that Sanders supporter were not happy with a “voice vote” and:

“…the count of delegates attending the convention, which put Hillary Clinton at an advantage.”

This Facebook video shows the reaction to this vote.

That Clinton advantage is explained thoroughly by the Las Vegas Sun. While the difference is not much, it seems that Clinton and Sanders supporters were determined to be heard, even after Sanders himself urged supporters to be “respectful and constructive” at the convention.

That we are beginning to devolve into Republican-style antics is not surprising. Even here, if I write an article about Clinton winning the nomination, which she is most likely to do, Sanders supporters lose their minds and the trolls come out.

Now if I write an article about what Sanders brings to the table and how he is going to keep fighting, Clinton supporters lose their minds and act like I’ve crowned him the victor, and the trolls come out.

Lastly, if I write how Clinton and Sanders supporters are the Democratic nominees worst enemy, it’s a free-for-all, and the trolls come out. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again – Keep this up and Trump will walk into the White House unopposed.
