Planned Parenthood’s Cecile Richards Put In Odd Position Over Hillary During Interview

Planned Parenthood’s President Cecile Richards was interviewed on MSNBC by Andrea Mitchell recently. She somehow was forced to defend Hillary Clinton’s marriage during the interview. Mitchell seems to be obsessed with this topic.

Trump has attacked Clinton and her husband multiple times. The Donald called her an “enabler” of her husband’s affairs.

Here is what Richards had to say about that:

“…It’s very distressing to see that anyone who is running for President of the United States would be so completely disrespectful and dismissive of women. And particularly a woman that’s been Secretary of State, she’s been a United States Senator. She’s a woman who’s had incredible experience and committed her entire life to public service, and he shows her absolutely no respect.”

“I don’t think it’s that surprising, but I think for him, I don’t know how he thinks he’s going to win an election when a majority of the voters in this country are going to be women next November.”

Mitchell grills Richards further when she asked if young people are not respecting Hillary Clinton for staying with her husband. Richards stayed classy and directed the conversation back to Planned Parenthood by saying:

“This is not an issue on anyone’s mind. What women are thinking about are the issues that our patients at Planned Parenthood think about. They’re not getting equal pay in this country, there is no access to affordable child care, they need access to healthcare. There are now 24 states that are trying to end their access to basic birth control and cancer screenings.”

Instead of going after these restrictions, Donald Trump keeps choosing to make personal attacks against Hillary Clinton. Women are more worried about their rights being taken away.

We deserve to have our bodily autonomy; no one should be forced to carry a baby that they don’t want to have. We have employers trying to get all up in our personal business. Mitchell should be talking about REAL women’s issues! We don’t care about Hillary Clinton’s marriage!
