WATCH: NC Governor FINALLY Admits That Transgender People Are Not Molesting Children

The governor of North Carolina, Pat McCrory, has been under fire for his ridiculously bigoted HB2 law. It forces transgender people to use the bathroom of the sex they were born as instead of the sex they identify with now. North Carolina is now suing the DOJ because it was ruled unconstitutional.

He was on Fox News yesterday and the host, Chris Wallace, backed him into a corner on the bill. McCrory begrudgingly admitted that one of the main talking points of the bill is an absolute lie. He admitted that transgender people are not molesting children in bathrooms. This was made up to give them a license to discriminate.

The DOJ gave McCrory three days to respond or overturn the law or they will lose billions of dollars in government funding. This is what McCrory had to say when Wallace asked him about it:

“We don’t think three working days is enough to respond to such a threat. It’s the federal government being a bully, it’s making law, and it’s their interpretation.

“Now the federal government is going to tell almost every private-sector company in the United States who can and who cannot come into their bathrooms, their restrooms, their shower facilities. They are now telling every university that accepts federal funding that boys who may think they’re a girl can go into a girl’s locker room or restroom or shower facility.”

Wallace then asked if the governor would be opposed to the federal government forcing places to have segregated bathrooms for white and black people. McCrory said that it is easier to identify people’s races than it is to figure out their gender identity, completely avoiding the question.

Wallace then hit him hard by asking if there had been any cases of people using gender protections to molest children. He was finally forced to admit that he had not come across any of those cases.
