These Just-Released Photos Of George W. Bush On 9/11 Give Us More Insight Into The Man

On the morning of September 11, 2001, as President George W. Bush was reading a children’s story to a group of students at Emma E. Brooker Elementary School in Sarasota, Florida. As he was reading the story, Chief of Staff Andrew Card informed him that the World Trade Center had been struck by two airplanes. The President cut short his visit with the children and retired to a room in the back of the school with his staff.
