Trump Supporter Refuses To Assist Disabled Crash Victim — You Won’t Believe Why

WNEM News from North Carolina reported earlier this week that a local woman was left stranded by the side of the road after her car was hit by a tractor-trailer on Route I-26 in Asheville.

The woman was unhurt, but her car was not so lucky and couldn’t be driven away from the scene. So she called mechanic Kenneth Shupe of “Shupee Max Towing Service.”

Shupe drove all the way out to the scene, hooked up his tow truck and got ready to earn himself some money, good capitalist that he is.

But then he walked around to the back of the car and saw……..wait for it……..a Bernie Sanders bumper sticker.

Aw, hell, no.

Shupe says that he told the woman “politely” that there was no way he could possible tow her call because she was “obviously a socialist.” He then advised her to “call the government for a tow.”

The Huffington Post interviewed the driver, 25-year-old Cassandra McWade, who was shocked by the interaction. McWade is a disabled woman, who reports that the Handicapped placard was hanging in plain view from her rearview mirror when Shupe arrived.

Shupe didn’t offer McWade any help after unhitching his tow. Instead he left the disabled young woman by the side of the road for two more hours before another tow truck, with a less closed-minded driver, came to her rescue.

McWade lives with her mom, who was not happy with Shupe. She posted an angry comment on Facebook, saying that Shupe is “probably a Trump supporter.” She added:

“The only difference is that the Don would have taken the money, because he at least realizes that liberals’ money spends just the same as anyone else’s. Dumb (expletive) cost himself money driving all the way to Asheville & back for nothing. (Expletive).”

It may come as no surprise that Shupe identified himself as a “Christian Conservative.”  It might also come as no surprise that he isn’t very good at math. He told a reporter that he is behind Donald Trump “110 percent.”
