Child At Ted Cruz Rally Expresses What Many Of Us Are Feeling (VIDEO)

Ted Cruz is not doing well in the polls right now. He is 15 points behind Trump in Indiana. Cruz held a campaign rally there this past weekend. One audience member finally said what many of us would love to say to Ted Cruz. The kid yelled out, “You suck!” in the middle of Cruz’s speech.

Cruz started out somewhat polite toward the boy. After the boy made the remark, Cruz said:

“Thank you, son. I appreciate you sharing your views. You know, hopefully one of the things somebody has told you is that children should actually speak with respect. Imagine what a different world it would be if someone told Donald Trump that years ago. In my household, when a child behaved that way, they’d get a spanking.”

One attendee at the La Porte, Indiana rally said:

“I was standing next to the young man at the rally. I believe he was put up to it by an adult. He was very well-rehearsed and extremely upset by the response he was receiving for being disrespectful.”

“As we let him upfront to see the senator earlier in the program, he was surrounded by other children and parents. I asked him where his parents were, and he said that he didn’t have to have his parents there and then it changed to they were outside. I felt sorry that he was ‘used’ this way to bring about this incident.”

The boy was escorted out of the rally by local law enforcement.

Tomorrow, Indiana voters will head to the polls. There are 57 delegates at stake for Cruz and Trump to fight over. Cruz has been campaigning very hard in the state. Governor Mike Pence just said he would be voting for Cruz. But, the candidate is spouting that fact in his adds. He is trying desperately to win the state.

Hopefully, his reaction to the boy’s remark will knock him down, but it probably won’t. The audience seemed to agree with Cruz’s response.
