Al Jazeera Plus snapped this amazing image at the rally and posted it to their Twitter feed. It should be noted that the boy’s sign is historically accurate: The United States stole huge swathes of territory from Mexico during the Mexican American War 1846-1848. It’s a fact. One of the ugly facts those on the right choose to ignore, much like the ones of how we committed genocide against Native Americans and locked people up who were opposed to American involvement in World War I. Don’t believe it? Pick up a copy of Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States and get back to me once you’ve read it.
